Ray Ray carrying his one star bag and Dodu setting off together

Where’s My Bag?

This little game started with my boys learning their sounds. I wanted something we could play together, one small step at a time. Help Dodu find his big brother Ray Ray’s missing bag—if Ray Ray can stop playing with his toy car! Then try a few little sound games together.

Little steps, not a test

Watch our short film, hear a simple story and explore six sound stops. Practise h, z, y, b, r, ck and x; look closely at b and d; hear the difference between pen and pin; blend short words; and clap spoken syllables.

No time limit. No lost stars. Stop for a rest whenever your child needs one.

Play together

Say sounds rather than letter names in the sound games. In duck, ck makes one sound. In box, x makes two. Optional me and go introduce two long vowel sounds.

A family practice game, not a complete phonics programme. Follow your child’s teacher’s approach.
